Victor Ubabike - NIGERIAN

Ubabike Victor Chukwudi, was born in 1982, at Auchi, Edo State.
He is from Imo State.He had his basic early education in Benin City. In 2003 and 2007,
He graduated from Auchi School of Art with National Diploma in general art and Higher National Diploma in painting respectively.
Victor sees and draw inspiration from domestic settings with women and children. And he employs the technical use of impasto painting technique to create very colourful impressions.
He has participated in several exhibitions and art competitions.
In 2013, He was specially recognised with a special mention in the prestigious annual Embassy of Spain's National art competition themed "Nigerian Tribute to Local" in Abuja.The following year,he won third place in "Dali's Dream on Canvas" art contest also organised by Embassy of Spain.
He also emerged as one of the 100 finalist in the concluded Centenary Art Contest organised by Union Bank Plc to commemorate it's 100 years of service.He lives and practice in Lagos
