Olamide Ogunade ★ | NIGERIA

Olamide Ogunade was born in January 6th 1996, in Ogun state, Nigeria

Olamide is a self taught hyperrealism artist who started drawing at the age of 6, he is currently a student of the Yaba College of Technology where he studies fine Art.

Olamide gets inspiration from the happenings in his society which makes him express himself  using mediums  like ballpoint pen, oil paint ,charcoal, acrylic paint or pencil. 

His kind of art takes a lot of time as it requires patience and persistence making a mere shading come to life and almost impossible to believe it was created by hand.

Olamide has exhibited in several group exhibitions In Lagos and Ogun state, Nigeria.  

His works were also exhibited among other artists in Luxembourg at the “Afrika First Exhibition”. 

His works are widely collected by art collectors globally.

To add to his wealth of experience, He was invited to the United Arab Emirate in 2018 to make artworks for a month. He also won the tecno art challenge 2020.
