ARTMAZON™ ART Finance

It's easy to buy high-value Modern & Contemporary African ART from selected categories, most of which are typically from season Master Artist listed on ARTMAZON.com completely interest-free. We don’t require a personal guarantee. ARTMAZON™ ART Finance facility is simply based on the following agreements:

• We would use the ArtWork exclusively as collateral. This means that in the event of any default, we would repossess the ArtWork to recover our money.
• The ArtWork would be released to you after 50% - 80% of your payment, typically within 2 months maximum.
• You have the option to spread the cost over 6 interest-free monthly payments.
• You must be over 18 years of age and have a properly registered SIM card with the Telco. The SIM card must be active for at least 90 days prior to your use of the ARTMAZON™ ART Finance service.
• Your purchase using our interest-free credit scheme is secured with a 20% deposit. The remaining balance will be spread over 6 monthly payments and you will receive an opening balance statement by SMS linked to your registered SIM and email. Agreement Duration 6 months rate of Interest (Fixed) 0% pa 0% APR Representative.
• You are aware that a 12 months comprehensive ArtWork insurance policy has been added to the total cost of the ART Finance.
• You must be capable of taking perfect care of the ArtWork.

Other conditions may apply and we cannot guarantee that your application will be accepted.  We reserve the right to withdraw finance on certain ArtWork at any time. Finance is subject to status. From time to time, we may vary the terms of our finance offer at our discretion.

If your application is successful, you will enter into a Credit Agreement with ARTMAZON™ ART Finance.

Who is eligible to apply for finance?

Finance is available on orders of NGN 100,000 or more, placed on our website.

You'll need to be:

• 18 years or older.
• A Nigerian or UK resident for 5 years or more/Permanent Nigerian or UK  resident and have valid means of Identification (international passport, driver’s license or national ID card).
• Proof of address where ArtWork must be available during the credit period.
• Available to salaried individuals and business owners able to make regular repayments by Direct Debit. Employment letter, Confirmation Letter and/or last Promotion Letter and Staff ID Card. are required for salaried individuals. Certificate of Registration is required for  business owners. If you are retired and receive a pension, or registered disabled and unable to work, ARTMAZON™ ART Finance may ask for proof of sufficient income.
• Tax clearance certificate.
• Have a debit card or credit card in your name and registered to your address, Bank Verification Number (BVN number for Nigeria) and have a bank or building society current account.
• Other conditions may apply and we cannot guarantee that your application will be accepted.
• Completed ARTMAZON™ ART Finance Application Form.

How long will it take to apply?

You should get an answer within 3-5 business days on whether your application for finance has been successful. In some cases, ARTMAZON™ ART Finance and our 3rd party vetting service provider - will need to look at the application in more detail before making their decision.

If your application is successful, you'll be asked to verify your identity against a credit or debit card that you own. This helps protect you and us against fraudulent finance contracts.

What happens if my application is turned down?

Applications may not be accepted for a number of reasons, including mis-typed information, or not meeting the specified requirements. Please note that other conditions may apply and we cannot guarantee that your application will be accepted.

If your application isn't successful, you can still purchase the item in full with a valid credit or debit card. If your application is declined, it’s usually for one of the following reasons:

• you do not meet the eligibility criteria;
• adverse credit reference agency information;
• your credit score;
• you are considered to be overcommitted financially; or
• your existing account performance with other lenders.

If you wish to appeal the decision made by ARTMAZON™ ART Finance, it’s advised you obtain an up to date copy of your credit report before appealing directly to AFRINVESTALLY LTD. Due to data protection, all customer appeals must be emailed to [email protected]

If your application is successful, you’ll be asked to verify your identity by authorising against a bank card that you own, your registered phone SIM and email. This helps protect you and us against fraudulent finance contracts, the details are used to check that they are valid and registered to your address and Bank Verification Number (BVN number for Nigeria).
