Akintayo Akintobi ★★ | NIGERIA

 Akintayo Akintobi (b.March 1994, Nigeria) 

He Started drawing at the age of 7 through drawing of cartoons and comic action figures. 
He studied Fine Arts at Obafemi Awolowo University,Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria, for four years and obtained  a B.A/ED (fine arts) with specialization in painting.
After a few years of studio practice and apprenticeship he metamorphosed into an expressionistic painter with the use of different brilliant colours, African motifs and patterns.
He draws inspiration from human emotions, African culture, stories and economic situation around him.
He has participated in numerous exhibitions as his works are privately collected locally and internationally.
He presently has a studio in Lagos, Nigeria constantly researching to explore new concepts and possibilities in art.
