Affen Oluwasegun (b.1993) Lagos, Nigeria

Affen Oluwasegun popularly known as OjayArtworks is a self-taught artist who is motivated and inspired by the black culture. As a contemporary artist, he has a passion for the creation of portraits which are brought alive through the use of a combination of acrylic hues and African patterned fabrics. His ability to capture emotions on aces of the subjects show why he has got a large audience of lovers of his work.

In addition to being a lover of and creator of art from the black culture, OjayArtworks has done paintings for several Nigerian celebrities including Davido, Wizkid, Mayorkun, Zlatan to name a few. 

His art is visual poetry bursting with relentless energetic expression.

GOALS

His goal is to bring people from different cultures together with his paintings, to let them know about the culture, tradition and beauty of Africa and Africans.
